Weekend Recap

Yesterday started early with Cobe's game at 8:30. Their team won 7-0 and Cobe scored 3 of the 7 goals! He played really well. He and another little boy (Dimitri Maly- Lynette's little brother) dominated the game. Dimitri scored 3 of the 7 goals as well. It was fun to watch. We left there and headed to a different ball field to watch Aliyah's game. She played really well too, and she was playing our next door neighbor's team so it was fun to watch both of them. I am embarrassed to admit that I didn't keep track of the score at her game b/c I started talking to people I knew and lost track of the score. Then we came home, had lunch and the kids played for awhile. Mark came over and MJ dropped off Justin and Jake to play as well. Ryan and I took all 8 kids to the park for the afternoon. They had a blast. Everyone left at around 4:30, and we didn't do much at night. I put in a pizza for the kids, and Ryan ran to Subway to pick up dinner, and we were in bed by 9:00. Exhaustion! :-) This morning was our church's last Sunday without Children in Worship, Sunday School etc. and they were having a joint service again for the whole church. So, I guess we'll start back next week for the fall. I feel guilty missing again when we are home and could go, but really with 3 kids in church, we get nothing out of it.

Tomorrow little Brooksie starts back to school. Boy is he pumped!!!! I will drop him off and then go back to the insurance company to switch over our policies- they could save us over $500 on home and car insurance so it is well worth the switch. Sadie and I will be solo until time to pick up Brooks. Tomorrow night I start back to BSF. It will be my 4th year, and we are studying the book of Matthew. They don't have a spot for Cobe yet and are still training leaders for his class, so he can't start back until they get the teachers trained. I always enjoy BSF so much and need the strict study in my life. It helps so much in my relationship with God, my obedience to the word, and with hearing God's voice so I'll know what He wants for my life. I really miss it over the summer, and unfortunately, was not disciplined enough to read my Bible NEARLY enough this summer. Tuesday night, I have a meeting at church, Wednesday night I am meeting Emily for dinner (Hey Em!) and Cobe has soccer practice, Miss Sadie Claire starts dance class Thursday morning!!!!, and that is about it for our busy week. It is Ryan's long week to work (M-T-F-S-S), so that isn't fun to look forward to. At least he'll be home Wed. and Thurs. all day.

Well, the men of the family are once again sorting baseball cards in the living room. Sadie is once again digging out hats from the closet and pushing them around in her stroller, so it seems like an exact repeat of last Sunday morning. I am mad at myself that I haven't taken any pictures lately. I will definitely be getting some of Brooks' first day of school tomorrow and Sissy's dance class on Thursday. Hope everyone reading this has a great week!

Sounds like a good and BUSY weekend! If I had a double stroller I would suggest walking after you drop of Brooks at school... you will be right here anyway, but I am watching Brecken and have no double stoller. Hopefully he has a good 1st day tomorow! I'm free Tuesday or Friday morning if you want to get together! E-mail me!
