A Fun Night
We had such a great time at the football game tonight. After the kids got home from school, we had a few errands to run. Then we loaded up the 5 kids, and hit the tailgate. They all had hot dogs, chips, dip, and pop. Once their bellies were full, we headed into the game. We watched the teams warm up, the band, and the other pre-game activities. They were all pretty excited for the big game to start. Surprisingly enough, Sis was the one who sat there the entire 1st half and watched the entire game. She cheered when appropriate and didn't take her eyes off of the game. We know where we'll be on Friday nights from here on out. Cobe really enjoyed watching the game as well. Aliyah's teacher was there so she was so excited to go talk to her. Brooks and Maya hung out on the hill and ate candy. At halftime, we packed up and headed home. Cobe has an 8:30am game in the morning, so I am about to go tuck them in bed once they are all done with their snacks. We'll head to Cobe's game, then Aliyah's (hers is at a different school at 9:45). I am sure we'll come home then for lunch and to play. Well, I have 5 kids to go tuck in. Oh! I almost forgot. Ryan and I booked our Mackinac Island weekend today. Looks like a great hotel- one we have never stayed in before, but this time, we felt it necessary to get one with an indoor pool since we are taking the kids. You can check it out at: this link. Good night!

Well, I didn't make it to either game. We had to be up so early this morning that I figured the game wasn't an option, not to mention, although it's cheap entertainment with D & Ange too it still add's up. This morning we ended up all riding together to Landon's scrimmage and left for that at 7:40, so soccer was out too, but maybe next week! Sounds like they did pretty good though!
I so wish I knew people that played!! I LOVE going to games--any kind!!! Sounds like a great time!!
Have a great weekend chica!
Ha...we just went to a game last night as well. Macon could have cared less but Katy was totally into it. She kept asking David all kinds of questions. Hannah went with three of her friends and only talked to us when she needed money. We could watch her walking around talking and laughing...such a big girl now! First time I have been able to view her as an almost-middle schooler!
