My mom got here safely around 4:45 this afternoon. We had to wait until Ryan finished watching the Packers win before leaving for the airport, so it was a good thing her plane was 15 minutes late. We came back home, had dinner, and now Nana is coloring with Brooks and Sadie. Tomorrow morning she and I are going to Post Family Farms with Brooks' preschool class. I hope the rain is done because his class is going rain or shine. That is not a field trip I want to go on in the rain. Sadie is completely enthralled with her Nana. She keeps calling her name to make sure she is still here. Too funny!
We had such a nice "family night" last night. We all piled on the basement couch and watched "A Night at the Museum." It was a great movie- if you haven't seen it yet, I'd totally recommend it. The kids loved it and so did Ryan and I. This morning we all went to Sunday School and then the boys sang at church in the choir. Cobe was in the back row and totally hidden by all the taller kids in front of him, so you could barely see him, and Brooks turned around backwards and looked at the back of the stage instead of out at the audience. He sang the first song, but then turned around after that. He was sort of hidden and hard to see as well, but I could tell he was backwards. I asked him afterwards why he was turned around, and he said that he was looking at the drums. Oh well! At least he went up there- we'll work on actually getting him to sing and face forward later. :-)
Same stuff coming up this week as usual- BSF tomorrow night, church Wednesday night, soccer game Saturday. But the different things will be: Dad comes in Wednesday afternoon, Sadie's birthday is Thursday, Chicago is Friday, Crane's is Saturday. I hope the weather is nice for all of the outdoor activities. Fun week ahead!

Glad she got in safe and that you guys enjoyed your family night, we may have to borrow that movie sometime! I will plan E by you on Tuesday if you don't mind!!! He can come with me though too if you have plans or want to make plans!
A busy weekend! Good job Lynette - the blog looks great! My girlfriend was having problems with her new iPod as well. HAHA Can't believe we'll miss you at dance on Thursday - not sure who's coming with P or if they even will. My mom has big plans with Presley this week. :) Don't think we'll be ordering the recital stuff either - I agree! Presley hasn't been improving so please keep her in your prayers while we're gone. Have an awesome time with your parents here & travel safely this weekend.
