More of the same since I have posted last: more swimming, boating, sunning, walking, jumping, etc. We did go shopping Monday afternoon. We hit the Belk's, Rack Room and Wal-Mart in Roanoke Rapids. My mom bought the kids some clothes at Belk's. Cobe got some jeans and a pair of shorts, Brooks got a dinosaur shirt that he hasn't taken off yet, and Sadie racked up and got some adorable fall outfits as well as some CUTE outfits for next summer that were on sale. They all got new shoes at Rack Room: Cobe got Nike basketball shoes, Brooks got Sketcher running shoes, and Sadie got a pair of Nike tennis shoes and Sketcher croc-looking shoes. And then they got toys at Wal-Mart. It was a very successful shopping trip for my kids! I even got a bathing suit cover-up out of the trip. We ate at Chic-Fil-A for dinner and headed home. Michigan doesn't have Chic-Fil-A restaurants and it is our favorite!!! So everytime we come to NC, we eat there. Ryan and I even looked into opening a franchise on-line one time in MI because it is so yummy. (It was too much money, too much time, and there are none in the mid-west.) Sharon has mentioned in her blog how much she likes it too, right Sharon???? SOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!
This morning Lisa and I went to a few more stores around here by ourselves while the kids fished. I got a pair of sunglasses since Sadie broke the ones I brought and that was about it. Lisa got a few random things and a gift for her mom.
We just got back from a boat ride and heard the awful news about that bridge collapsing in Minneapolis. How horrible is that? I already have a fear of driving over bridges, so I do not look forward to the drive home. I know so many people need prayers tonight and so many families have been affected by this tragedy.
I have still been too lazy to try and figure out how to post pics from my mom's computer, and really I have been slack about taking any, so I'll post the few I have when I get home.

YES, Chic-fil-la is the BOMB... Will give you anything you want if you smuggle one back in a cooler. Even one of my kids,...dog maybe? Yeah, Dan said the area is gorgeous. I've been several times, nice to have him see southern beauty. We're planning a trip to Carolina Beach, Nc as we speak. Going to vacay together. So glad God gave us the strength and understanding to get along as a blended family. I have a fear of heights or it could be OCD. Either way traveling on a bridge is hard for me too. We cross the MS river alot on the way to Ms and I have to close my eyes. Have a safe trip home and can't wait to meet. Maybe after my vacay to NC. Not sure of the dates. We'll get in touch!!
Hi Y'all, Mrs. Neusebaum is in the mother f-in hiz-ouse....I hope your vacation is going well, Sarah, Im sure the kids are having a ball. I also agree, CHIC_FIL A is the bomb, and I actually thought of opening a franchise out here too, but the weather is not right. By the way, I understand your sister-in-law, Amanda, is expecting pretty soon. I hope shes feeling well. For me, I can tell you, i am not having anymore kids...As you know, i just dont have the patience anymore, after the "INCIDENT". Anyway, Ill check in again soon...bye now.
OK, What.... Sure did miss something from the last post but she said YA'LL... She's gotta be OK. She is very funny too. If us southerners could at least get one , Michiganders to say YA'll more(Lynette) life would be good. Way too funny!!!
Never had Chic-fil-a but I see them everywhere when we're in Florida.

Didn't here about the bridge, will hit MSNBC right now. I've always been real weird about the Mackinac bridge when we cross it every summer - almost like panic. This won't help.
Sounds like you guys had fun shopping. And the kids made out great. My niece got those skechers shoes, too. My mom couldn't find them in Presley's size. They are sooo cool! c ya!

Sounds like you are having fun down there - weather must be good since I haven't heard you say otherwise. LOVE chic-fil-a too - funny story is that I dated a guy who was a manager of one down in FL - he came to our church for SWIM one summer and we had a summer fling - I even went and stayed with his family for a week - Bradenton FL. Wierd - he was ready to move up here and start one so he could be by me - that is when I called it quits - LOL! Good thing b/c look at my hot and funy hubby now!!!

Just for the record, this "Mrs. Neusebaum" is just as much a mystery to me as it is to all of you. I am trying to figure her out for myself as well. Who would know me and know that my SIL is pregnant??? And call herself Mrs. Neusebaum? Keep it up Mrs. N, you make me laugh!

Hmmmm... what an interesting mystery!?! Glad you guys are having fun... sounds like shopping was way productive for the kids, and I guess w/o the trampoline you have room for all of it on the way home! Chic-fil-a seems to be the thing to comment on, so I will just say that I"m EXTREMELY picky adn it sounds like a fast food place that I would think is disgusting! Sorry to dissapoint everyone that thinks otherwise. I swear Matt just asked me jokingly as we were driving down the highway one day if I wanted to go to one, maybe it was Chicken Coop, something with "Chick" in the name! Anyway... thanks for the continued updates... can't wait to see pics!
I thought you might know who it is Sarah - hmmm.. lets brainstorm. I don't think it is Kyle b/c he doesn't really golf. OH WAIT - HE DID GOLF LAST FRI. - WAS THAT WHEN THE first comment was???? Now I think it might be him, but wait - he wants more kids unlike today's Mrs. Neusembaum. And I don't think Kyle has ever been ro or heard of chic-fil-a. I am back to thinking it is Ryan - and mainly b/c he can swear like a sailor - LOL! He definitely knows I am pregnant. How funny - you have a blog stalker!
