A Kodak Moment
Oh my! Brooks has always been our little sleeper. From the time he was born, he has loved to sleep. He would sleep all night and all day. Little did we know that he suffered from severe anemia and had no energy to do anything. After discovering this by accident (he had a seizure and ended up being hospitalized for a few days because his anemia was so bad), he has been treated and doesn't suffer from it anymore. However, he is still one who likes/needs his sleep. Even at 4 1/2, he either takes a nap or hits the sack pretty early at night. So, I got caught up watching Big Brother and talking to my mom on the phone, and Brooks and Cobe went up to brush their teeth. Cobe came back down and Brooks never did. I assumed he had gone in our bedroom to lie down with Ryan. Cobe went up during a commercial and told me I had to go look at Brooks- he had fallen asleep on the bathroom floor waiting for someone to help him brush his teeth. I laughed so hard! He is capable of brushing his own teeth, so I think he must have just been exhausted and decided the floor was as good as his bed.
Here he is on the floor- see his toothbrush? At least he attempted to brush.
We decided to have some fun with him. Ryan tried to stick the toothbrush in his mouth. He kept wiping his mouth and then he stood right up and tried to climb up the wall. He never even woke up. Ryan kept asking him if he thought he was Spiderman. Finally I took mercy on him and carried him to bed and tucked him in. My sweet, precious, little boy was whipped!

Oh my gosh - that is too funny. Sometimes I wish for a kid that would do that - fall asleep anywhere - my girls NEVER fall asleep in odd places. Makes for some good pics - now you can show Brooks tomorrow!!!
Oh, I remember when you found out that he was anemic. That was scray!
That is too cute though!! What a little peanut!! He is gonna love those pictures when he gets older. LOL
That is just too funny! My girls love to sleep, but I haven't found them doing anything like that yet. I'll bet it was hard not to laugh at him when he was "sleep walking/climbing". It's funny, but I can see how you feel bad for him too.
Have a great weekend!
LOL right now! Climbing a wall, how funny is that! So sweet laying on the floor, very precious!
Scary how you found out he had anemia... poor kiddo!
Did you see me honk at you this morning while you were getting gas? It was kinda delayed cuz it didn't register who it was at first...
