Sis did not do well at all during the night. I was so thankful that we had stayed here b/c I actually contemplated taking her to the emergency room. Her breathing was super quick and shallow and her heartbeat was so fast. I called Ryan to get his advice at 4:30, and he thought I could probably wait until the Dr.'s office opened this morning. I took her in, and she has strep throat. The Dr. first thought it was foot, hand, mouth disease and said it was viral and we'd have to wait it out. She did a strep test just to make sure, and it was positive right away. The good thing is at least she got put on an antibiotic rather than her having to wait out a virus. Poor little girl- she didn't sleep most of the night (neither did I), so she is back in bed. Her equilibrium must be off too because every corner I turned on the way and on the way home from the Dr., she thought she was going to fall out of her carseat. It was so cute because she would grab on to her seat and look at me with her big ole eyes and make a WHOOOOAAAHHH sound. I felt so bad for her, but it was cracking me up.
I have to go get a new cell phone today. I hope they have a cheap one. Mine is totally on the fritz. It turns off in mid-conversation for no reason. Ryan and the boys are on their way home from the cottage after cleaning up the yard and having a good time together. When he gets home, he is going to run his Sea-Doo to Adam's work to be fixed and then hopefully, I can leave to get a new phone.
Can't tell what this weather is going to do today. Pretty crummy start with all the fog. Hopefully it will burn off and turn into a nice day. Enjoy!

oh man - poor Sis. Hopefully the antibiotics kick right in and she is better in no time.
How scary, but at least you have it figured out now and that hopefully that med will start working soon!
The weather hasn't gotten any better, just not a nice day, hopefully you are able to find a cheap new cell, I hate having to spend the money on them
OH NO! Same thing that Isabel had too!! After the second (or third) day she was feeling so much better!! SO hopefully that med will kick in soon! Poor girl. :(
I ditto what Manda said. I know strep is going around. Hopefully, they work fast. I took Presley in yesterday b/c she's had this really ucky nose. I guess I got lucky with just allergy meds. Take care Sadie!!
