439th post?????

When I started this blog, I had no idea that I would make it to 439 posts. I started it as a way for my family in NC to keep up with our lives, see pictures of the kids on a regular basis, and to keep a journal of our lives that I would like to be able to look back on to remember the funny things the kids did, the highlights in their activities and just to record our life as it happened. It has turned in to so much more for me than I could ever imagine. Just to name a few: 1. It has brought me wonderful people in my life that I would not have otherwise been close to. Some of them I knew, but not well, but blogging really connects you deeply I feel because you do know so much about each other if you read someone's blog on a regular basis. 2. It has connected me to family members (cousins and an uncle) who started blogs after I did- family members who I used to see on a monthly/regular basis and who I grew up being so close to, but am now separated by miles and miles. 3. It has allowed me to connect with a cousin of Ryan's who I have come to "know" so well and who hopefully will one day be my neighbor, but before, she was just another cousin at the annual family Christmas gathering. 4. It has allowed me to realize how blessed I am when I read other people's blogs who have lost children or who have had other unimaginable tragedies in their lives. 5. Lastly, it has allowed me to write. Something I have always loved to do, but something that had gotten put on the back burner because of the busyness of family, work and running a household. It may not be the best writing, but I do so enjoy sitting here clacking away. :-)

I write all of this because I have come to a point where I don't know if I am going to blog as much. I feel like since right now I can't load pictures that my entries have all become... this is what I did the last few days and this is what I am going to be doing this weekend, blah, blah, boring blah. I LOVE seeing pictures on blogs and including them on my own, and I just feel like until I can get that kink worked out, this may be it for awhile. We are going to the beach next week and I'll have wireless internet there, so I am hoping for a stronger connection and if so, watch out- you'll be on picture overload for that week!!!!!!!! So until then.... I'll still be checking YOUR blog, so keep 'em coming!

Sometimes we just a to not be so tied... I'm sorry for all the pic problems you are having.
How awesome all the positive things from blogging. It is amazing all the things you learn & different connections to people you can make. We'll miss you for a while.

Well, lets just get one thing clear....not posting is NOT an option. So, as Lynette said you can use my connection any time too! You're just going to have to get cable internet again! Have fun on your trip and I can't wait to see the pics!

I couldn't agree more!
If it weren't for this blog I probably would have sat shyly in the middle of my siblings for the next 3 annual Christmas parties. :)
Should we get the entire family to start blogging?

You MAY NOT stop blogging - I have never gone to ANY blog and thought "wow - not this is boring!" Other people's lives are fascinating - not matter how boring! Have you told the assoc. that you can't even post pics online? They should have to get a stronger router or something. I will ask my bro too - he is pretty smart on that - maybe you can just get an additional router yourself and boost the power.

I have to agree with the others. It is not an option for you to stop! I love reading about what you're doing and have been up to! You can use my connection also! Even though we were neighbors I became closer to you through this blog!
