Sunday/Monday

We had a great day on Sunday. The kids decided to put on a crazy show in the morning (see pics below). It made us late to Sunday School, but it was worth it. They put on extra undies and hats and shorts on their heads, etc. and just went crazy. Mornings like that are priceless. Sadie was determined to go to Sunday School, so we went late. She LOVES Sunday School. Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Mary do such a great job with the 2 year olds. She is so comfortable in their class. I know she will love 3-school next year because she begs to go to school every morning when Cobe and Brooks leave to go. We went to church as well, and Jen took Cobe and Brooks home with her from church (Thanks Jen!!!!). Sadie napped when we got home for a short nap (go figure since we didn't have the boys home), but I did get a few preparations done for the Superbowl. We were going to some friends of ours to watch it, but decided on Sunday to just stay home. So the Boeves came over and the Bells came over after they went to another party first. The kids all had fun playing, and I had fun chatting. Ryan and Cobe weren't happy with the outcome of the game though.

Yesterday was a regular work day. BSF last night (HEY BECKY!!!!!!!!!!), then home to find Ryan cleaning out our bedroom closet. He had trash bags of shirts he was throwing out, so I joined him, and we got a pile of shoes and hats to get rid of as well. I had already gone through my shirts on Sunday and made a pile to get rid of, so our closet looks halfway decent for a change.

Today I am going into work early to meet with my student teacher. Ryan is taking Sadie to the doctor. She still can't get over this cough. Yesterday she acted like it hurt her to cough, so I am assuming strep or pneumonia. She actually seems much better this morning and hasn't coughed hardly at all, but we are still going to take her in to make sure she isn't harboring some illness. She ate a big ole' breakfast, slapped her brother, changed her clothes 500 times, so she is acting normal, but I would feel better with a doc's diagnosis.

Here are a few pictures from Sunday:

Cobe and Landon's activity during the Superbowl was to have their own "mini" football game.
Here is Sadie during our Sunday morning variety show. Boxer shorts on her head was part of her costume.
Cobe put socks on his hands and part of his act was trying to blow out a fake candle.
Brooks lined up bathing suits, underwear and other clothes on his arms while dancing around in a helmet. Hmmmmm.... think these Huizenga kids take after their dad or their mom????? :-)

My email address is bexcherokee@yahoo.com. I probably still have your address and could have emailed it to you, but... yeah. I can't guarantee I would've remembered what I was doing once I got into my email. My brain is a sieve these days. ;S
