Quick Update on Sadie

Ryan took Sadie to the Dr. this morning at 11:00. It was a long appt. b/c the doctor had her do nebulizer treatments in the office. He said she had a definite ear infection and most likely pneumonia. Ryan left the office and took her to the hospital for chest x-rays. The doctor's office called when I got home from work to tell me that she was being prescribed an antibiotic for her ear infection and 4 nebulizer treatments a day with albuteral for her lung infection. The x-rays showed a viral lung infection in her lungs, not pneumonia. Never heard of it. But like I said, she seems fine other than a slight cough. So I am assuming the worst was yesterday when she seemed to be in pain when she coughed. Since that is viral, it just has to run its course. She goes back to the Dr. Thursday morning to be re-checked. She is a champ- nothing medical seems to bother her. Much different than our first-born and me too!
