Cobe's first baseball game
Cobe had his first baseball game tonight. They don't keep score, so I don't know who won. I was amazed at the talent in this age kid though. Both teams could catch really well! It was much more interesting to watch than t-ball. I was bored to tears last year going to those games. They played 4 innings. Cobe struck out the first 3, and got a hit the last inning. Poor guy! I was thinking he was never going to hit the ball! He did play amazingly well though in the outfield. He played pitcher one inning (the coach pitched and then got out of the way), and he caught 2 pop flys for outs. He also caught it 2 more times and threw guys out on first. He has some hitting practice to do with Ryan though before the next game. :-) We came home at 7:35 from the game, and the house showing was already done. I am sure we'll hear from our realtor tomorrow...."your house showed really well, but..." That seems to be the standard line. Anyway, hopefully the rain will stay away tomorrow for the parade. I don't have to work, so when Cobe gets home (he has field day at school, so boy, is he geeked!!!!) we'll head downtown to the parade. I didn't take any pictures tonight at the game; I'll have to get some next week. I'll post pictures in the next day or two of the kids in their costumes. I am not going to make them wear them to the parade- they'd be too hot. I am going to try to take them tomorrow night or Thursday afternoon to a clump of tulips and try to get a few pictures.

Yeah for Cobe! Coach pitch is sooooo much better than t-ball and guess what Machine Pitch is even better (they actually do three outs per inning)! Have fun at the parade, I'm still debating if I want to go today or wait til tomorow...rain isn't so fun!
sounds like fun! love little league! hopefully, the rain stops for the parade today. glad Sadie got some quality time with big brother.
