We had another great day on the lake! We went on a boat ride this afternoon to get ice cream, then came home around 5:00 for Ryan and I to get ready to go on a date. We went to a restaurant called Water's View and had a great, but expensive meal- $70 bucks!!!!! I am past the point of going out if you have to spend that much on a meal. It was good seafood- I had shrimp, scallops and crabmeat pasta, and Ryan had salmon, lemon rice and green beans. We had a couple of pomegranate martintis as well. They tasted like straight vodka to me- very strong!!! Can't beat free babysitters though! After dinner, we headed over to the neighbors' house who have a saltwater pool to watch the kids swim. It was a fun night. Here are some pictures from the past few days:

Baseball has been a big hit this week- lots of games played by everyone.

Free babysitter, romantic dinner and a couple of drinks....what are you doing home so early? You guys look like you are having a wonderful time. The pic of Brooks on the bike is adorable...and look at that sassy little Sadie! She is much missed here! We'll definitely have to get together next week!
Looks like a great time and I'm even more disgusted about Cobe putting his head in that water now! Ewwwwww! I think he deserves $50, not $5, and you can tell him I said that too! GROSS!

I agree with Lynette. Give the kid $50! There is no way I would ever put my head in with fish that looked like that. I cannot water ski because when I was 8 and my grandpa was teaching me on Lake Macatawa I fell and landed straight on a dead fish. So now I cannot water ski or set a foot into Lake Macatawa. How's that for irrational fears Lynette! I get sick and anxious just thinking about that nasty day when I fell and that nasty dead fish!
