This Post is for you Em!!!!!

Haha! Another faithful reader who does not post comments is my friend Emily. We went out to Crazy Horse tonight for some good eats and great catching up time. Then I was home in time to watch Survivor- who could ask for a better night???? :-) Sorry to say Em, but I was hoping Todd would go tonight. Seems TOO much like a snake in the grass to me- not to impressed with his sister's sad news she brought him. He was smirking as he said he wasn't lying about it. Whatever! I like Denise even more after tonight. She is true to her word. :-)

Let's see.. posted Tuesday night... not a lot going on since then. Ryan and I both fell asleep watching I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, but it wasn't because it was boring. It was a great movie, we just are both fighting colds and were exhausted/felt bad. We finished it last night after church. It really is worth seeing- lots of hee haw laughing parts (if you are watching it with Ryan that is). Yesterday a.m. Sadie went to Presley's and had a great time. Presley is coming here in the morning and Sadie is WAY excited. She keeps saying she and Presley are going to color, so I guess that will have to be on the agenda at some point. Sadie's new obsession is Barney- asks to watch it 10,000 times a day. We only have 1 VHS and 1 DVD left from Brooks' Barney days (I always sell them at yard sales thinking we are done with Barney fetishes), so Presley let her borrow one of hers. Hopefully Kristen that thing won't be worn out by tomorrow- it has gotten a lot of use since yesterday. :-)

This morning I had to go to work BRIGHT and EARLY- I had a 7:15 meeting, an 8:00 meeting and a 8:30 meeting- YUCK! I don't think that has ever happened since I have been working afternoons,but since I had to go to the 7:15 one, I just scheduled the other 2 right after to get them all taken care of. One of my meetings was with a girl from Hope who is going to be my student teacher starting in February. Can't wait- she will teach for about 6-8 weeks!!! Yippee! I will still have to go to work, but will have little to no responsibility. She seemed like a really nice girl who had it together, so should be a nice break for me. It will be nice to look forward to her starting soon after Christmas break.

Well, I am going to hit the sack early- been up since the crack of dawn, and I am still fighting a cold. The boys kept thinking I was crying during Survivor because my nose was stuffy and my eyes were watering. Just a cold though- I cry at a lot of shows, but Survivor isn't one of them. :-)

My nephew Josh is coming over in the morning as well as Presley, so those 3 should have fun romping around, then we are watching Jen's boys tomorrow night so they can go out to dinner. Saturday night, Ryan and I are going out for our anniversary. Anybody got any suggestions of where we should go? I am tired of the same ole, same ole. Looking for something a little different or off the beaten path (no chain restaurants). Leave a comment and give us your great ideas!
