Sadie's Shiner

My precious baby girl got a black eye tonight! She was pitching to Brooks, and he hit the ball right back at her- she was much too close! I felt just as bad, if not worse, for Brooks. He has been a wreck all night. He feels so badly and has cried, cried and cried some more. As you can see from the picture, she wasn't too upset about it after awhile. We are blessed to have an eye doctor across the street from us- he came over and checked her out. He does want to see her in his office tomorrow because the ball scratched her eye as well, so he wants to check on that with his equipment. She's a real trooper!
